Boyz II Men
Selling over 60 million albums worldwide, multi Grammy award winners Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men have broken numerous records in their 20 years, making them one of the biggest groups of all time.
Boyz II Men will celebrate 20 hit making years with their brand new album ‘Twenty’. The double CD set will contain 10 brand new songs plus 10 newly recorded and updated versions of Boyz II Men classics, such as ‘End Of The Road’, ‘I’ll Make Love To You’, and ‘Bended Knee’.
“We started with a pure love for music, so to be here twenty years later still doing what we love has been a pure blessing” says Wanya Morris of the trio. Shawn Stockman remarked, “From day one our fans have been amazing, they’ve seen us grow, so we owe all our success, to their continued support”, While Nathan Morris commented, “We are excited to be in the studio again with the guys who have been a part of some of our biggest hits to date, it's a really good feeling.”
As newly announced inductees to receive their star on the famous “Hollywood Walk Of Fame,” Boyz II Men’s new studio album will feature brand new material for the first time in 10 years. The group worked on new material with hit producers such as Babyface (Beyonce), Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (Janet Jackson),Teddy Riley (Michael Jackson), Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake), Julian Bunetta (Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield) and Tim/Bob(Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopez) amongst others.
Cited as influences to some of the most successful artists ever, from Beyonce to Usher, the group still holds the No.1 (‘One Sweet Day’ ft. Mariah Carey), No.3 (‘I’ll Make Love To You’) and No.4 (‘End Of The Road’) spots for most consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. They were also named by Billboard as the most successful group of the 1990’s.
That was then and this is now. Twenty finds Boyz II Men twenty years later, fulfilling new dreams and moving Boyz II Men into their next chapter.
