New single ‘Want u back’ ft. Astro

Cher Lloyd kicks off 2012 in style by unleashing ‘Want U Back’, the third infectious single taken from her debut album ‘Sticks & Stones’, featuring young X Factor USA rapper Astro.
An upbeat but heartfelt song reminiscing on love lost, ‘Want U Back’ perfectly showcases Cher’s vocal talents over catchy production courtesy of Swedish producer Shellback (who co-produced Maroon 5’s ‘Moves Like Jagger’). The new single version of the track features Astro, the much talked about rapper who appeared on the first season of the X Factor USA. The ‘Want U Back’ video, which premiered on Vevo last week, has already had over 2.5 million hits showcasing the appetite and interest in the star.
In October last year pop superstar Cher Lloyd followed her all-conquering, chart-topping number 1 single ‘Swagger Jagger’ with a second Top 5 hit, the beautiful, soaring ‘With Ur Love’ featuring Mike Posner. Already dubbed ‘the future’ by the New York Times, Cher’s debut album ‘Sticks & Stones’ was released in November last year featuring collaborations with the likes of Mike Posner, Busta Rhymes and a slew of the hottest production talent in music including Red One (Lady Gaga, J-Lo) and TMS (Dappy, Professor Green, Lily Allen).
In March 2012 Cher kicks of her debut solo tour taking in cities across the UK including Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham and finishing at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
